On the Move
Finally moving a long with my brand. Downside is that I've reached a speed bump. On Sunday, I took a trip to Thirty-Thirty Coffee to work on my senior project and portfolio pieces. The setting was great. I was sipping on my vanilla latte, chill music was playing, Indie music on the stereo, and soft voices from people talking at other tables. Everything was fine until, my laptop died. This was when I realized I wasn't sitting near an outlet and every table was full near the outlets. Since I just got there and only was able to take a sip of my latte, I had to figure out a plan to look productive and also do something for my senior project. It didn't help that I was sitting right in the middle of the space. I ended up shutting my laptop and spent a good 2 hour sketching ideas, which is something I've never done. It actually was very refreshing to just come up with ideas without the help of the internet. I came up with packaging ideas, name, a possible style for the imagery, etc. After I left Thirty-Thirty and recharged my laptop, I searched to see if the name I came up with "LUV SUM" was used
ISSUE THE NAME IS THE SAME NAME AS AN AUSTRALIAN BRAND THAT SELLS ORGANIC PRE-PACKAGED SNACKS.
My plan was to use the name of the restaurant as a tagline "Luv Sum Dim Sum" but after talking with my graphic design professor we are unsure if we can use that name. I'm still trying to argue to use the name for the sake that it's a senior project and it won't be sold anywhere.
